Life like in the movies

My life took a turn for the most adventurous a couple of days ago. It has with culture shock to do, I don't want to write more, because it's quite personal, but it has with religion to do. I never thought religion would be such a big deal, but for some people it is, and a sin is a sin. (I'm not the one sinning, because I don't believe.)
This is stuff that happen to other people, not me. It's stuff that you read about in a book, or watch in the movie theater. Not something that happen to me, I'm just too normal, too bland for stuff like this to happen to me. Yet I'm in it for better or for worse. And it's both scaring and exciting at the same time. I'm happy to be living my life right now, even though it's a very hard time, but I am so happy.

An update on the books then:

Still waiting for Then Came Mary proof copy. It seems like it's never coming. I think the mailman ate it. :(
I have almost decided to keep the POV as third person, but clarify it, Mary's POV in one chapter, Yaan's POV in another, not mixed changing with every paragraph as I have now. It still needs a massive re-write.

The new book Getting Even fell asleep halfway through. I intend to perform CPR on it as soon as I've moved and settled in in the new apartment. (if not before)

I still want to write Now Come The Tears, but I'm uncertain about the premise. Will it hold?
I Called Him Gabriel is beckoning, but I want to wait for the aha!-moment before I start, because I feel it is an aha!-novel and should be written as such.

Dream Summer, the swedish novel, is on a revamp. New ideas, deeper character, more problematic sceme, new main character ... I'm sorry Mia, but you already have a princess-book written about you (Meg Cabot's books) so you have to make place for Summer, she's new, she's unknown, she's scared, and she's ready to fight.

Then Came Mary proofcopy

Just sent the order for the proofcopy to Then Came Mary... and expecting it 16th of August...
Kind of a disappointment, but I'm not complaining. I got it for free :)
This is what the cover will look like, hopefully :)

Your idea to a book

I was thinking... I sometimes have these absolutely stunning ideas for books, and realize that if they were written I'd absolutely read it. Unfortunately since the ideas are mine, the books are also mine to write So I have to wait until I've written them until I can read them.
Then I wondered if other people also have ideas for books, but not the means or the energies to write them?
And then I realized it would be interesting to hear about other people's ideas for books and so decided to, in all humility, offer to write one persons ideas into a book (if I like the idea and think it's workable that is).
So, without further ado, do you have a great idea for a book you want to read, but not write?
Share, and I might write it for you.

On a side note, this could be a cool business, don't you think?
Would people want to pay to have their ideas turned into a book? Who wouldn't want to have a book in the bookcase to brag about?
"I was the one with the major idea for this one..."

Then Came Mary Update

Time is running out and Then Came Mary is still only in it's first stage. Currently I'm working on the characters. Adding more characters, and more subplots with them. After that I have planned for the settings, and then it's time for the subplotting with the minor and side characters. I don't think I'm ready for the big re-write in another month, and the time is up the last of June. Which is so soon I can't really believe it.

I feel almost stressed about it. I just need a kick in the butt. *kicks self in butt*

Update on the writing front

Guess it's about time for an update. :)

Got a major idea spur and have now 9 novels, some with no name nor plot, but about a... thing... I am not going to say more, because it would probably spoil it when you read the books. I want the readers to figure it out for themselves before I give them the conclusion. I am truly thrilled about this idea and wish I could write more about it, but it would spoil the whole meaning with the idea. Just be aware that there is a huge surprise hidden here :D

Now Come The Tears is currently being written as April's Script Frenzy rebel NaNo, and to be honest I'm far behind. I mean really really far behind. Almost so far behind I should put on an internet ban during April.
I should probably do it right now.

While I'm at it I have two titles I've sort of fallen in love with: Killing Time and Unsung. But so far Killing Time is only ONE idea and Unsung is not even an idea as much as only a title...
I'm thinking of totally rewriting The Speed of Darkness but right now I really should concentrate on getting Now Come The Tears.

I was to the library on Monday and borrowed John Marsden's So Much To Tell You (He is one of my absolute favourite authors, check him out if you already haven't! ) I'm longing to read it, but have promised myself I have to up my word count (or page count since that's what we're counting in Script Frenzy) before I do that.
From the library I have also dragged home three books about movie/script/film stuff (I had actually planned on writing Killing Time as a script) and a book named Write A Blockbuster which I'm practically plowing through right now :) and a book about studying effectively and a book about learning arabic...

I really should learn not to multitask.

New decor

I've changed the decorations on this blog (again) and think this is the most suitable for this blog (again) and will promise not to change the design again (again)

Which means in a months time this blog will look vastly different from now.

Seriously, if I spend as much time on writing as I do on designing and re-designing my blog then I'd be published by now...

I'll go back to my stories now.
